What going on
Not many mountains are open right now because there is not that much snow. Most of the snow that they have if they are open is snow that they have made. This snow is not the best and not really fun to ride on, it quickly goes to horrible conditions and gets icy fast. This is not fun or is it good for your snowboard or skis. I have gone at this time of year and scratched my snowboard worse than I could going all year in one day. There is not many mountains open right now most of them are the biggest mountains here are the mountains that are open and a link to the conditions. Sunday River and Sugarloaf, These are the mountains that are currently open in the state of Maine. More will be opening as soon as they get some snow and the temperatures start getting colder.
This post will help for those who don't want to scratch up their snowboard or skis. I ski myself and i'll be sure to remember this post if I consider going skiing.

ReplyDeleteThanks for the warning. I have skiied a lot and I never realized that the two snows scratched them up quicker. Hopefully we will get some good snow soon!
ReplyDeleteThis warm weather has really affected the ski season and tourism. I want to see some snow hopefully in the upcoming months because a green christmas in Maine would be weird.
