For starters
Snowboard can get expensive depending on what you buy for a board and bindings. I would recommend that if it is your first time to just rent because it might just not be your thing. Once you really start to get into it you might want to up grade to your own board. When you get to this point you are better off to go with a big name brand because if something breaks you will be able to find parts much easier. Along with this though is many mountains, every mountain has snowboarding and skiing classes. There is not just one mountain that is better than others for beginners most of them have what are called bunny slopes which are made for beginners. Which is where everybody started out.

This is helpful information for a beginner snow boarder because it would save them a lot of money, if they realized they don't enjoy the sport as much as they though. It also tells them how the can start snowboarding.
